We have an exciting seasonal opportunity for a Part-Time Lot Attendant at the Omaha, NE location, specifically at 7505 L St, Ralston, NE 68127. This role offers a starting hourly pay of $15.00 and is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and want to be part of a reputable organization. The position is seasonal, lasting up to 180 days starting as early as April. Ideal candidates are those who can commit to the defined work schedule with options available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday or Monday, Thursday, and Friday, working from 8 AM to 5 PM with weekends off.

As a Lot Attendant, you will play an essential role in the day-to-day operations related to vehicle management and lot organization. Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles upon arrival for any damage, completing delivery receipts, checking in vehicles, and performing light maintenance tasks to ensure all cars are rental-ready. Additionally, this position requires interaction with vendors and other staff, enforcing safety protocols, and occasionally driving and delivering vehicles locally or out of area by following road rules. You must be comfortable working independently or as part of a team, adapting to outdoor weather conditions, and managing various miscellaneous duties assigned by the manager. This role provides practical experience in vehicle maintenance and logistics within an esteemed company with a well-established presence in the automotive rental industry. Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • valid driver's license
  • clean driving record with no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
  • no drug or alcohol related convictions in the past 5 years
  • legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • ability to work outdoors for extended periods
  • available to work part-time seasonal schedule for up to 180 days

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accident on driving record in the past 3 years
  • no drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
  • authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship
  • willing to work outdoors in inclement weather
  • seasonal employees may work up to 180 days during a defined season and must have a 6 month break in service at the end of the season

Job Duties

  • Inspect and document the condition of incoming vehicles
  • perform basic maintenance check including antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
  • work with vendors
  • remove fuel from cars using de-fueling station
  • clean vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by operating washing equipment
  • work independently or as part of a team
  • drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed following all rules of the road
  • perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
