The Longboards Snack Bar Attendant position is an exciting seasonal opportunity at this renowned resort. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of guest satisfaction Cheyenne Mountain Resort is known for. Attendants act as the frontline representatives at the snack bar, responsible for taking guest menu selections and ensuring timely and accurate food and beverage preparation. They utilize a point-of-sale (POS) system to handle orders and payments, ensuring smooth transactions and a welcoming atmosphere. Given the seasonal nature of the role, open availability including weekends and holidays is essential. The position offers an hourly wage of $15.16 plus tips, reflecting Hyatt’s competitive compensation for service-oriented roles.
The snack bar attendant’s responsibilities include greeting guests promptly with courtesy, creating positive dining experiences, and strictly adhering to Hyatt’s standard of excellence in service. The role also involves verifying age for alcohol sales, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of the snack bar area throughout operating hours. In addition to customer service, attendants assist culinary staff by assembling orders and actively support pool complex activities by collecting trays, helping set up member events, and providing table-side service when the volume of guests allows. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- ability to operate POS systems
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- physical stamina to stand and carry moderate weights
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties
- Provide a welcoming and clean environment for guests
- greet guests promptly and courteously as they walk up to the snack bar
- create a positive experience for all guests and exceed expectations when possible
- follow Hyatt standards in service
- check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- obtain and submit food and beverage orders from guests using POS system
- adhere to all safety and health company requirements
- ensure opening, ongoing, and closing side work is complete
- assist in assembling food orders once prepared by the culinary team, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to guests
- collect used baskets and trays around the pool complex
- assist with setting up for member events at the pool
- handle payments accurately using POS system
- take food and beverage orders around the pool area when business levels permit
