Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred
knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform kitchen tasks

Job Qualifications

previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred
basic culinary knowledge
understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
ability to follow instructions and recipes
good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

under supervision of chefs, execute cooking tasks including reading food slips, preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and instructions
maintain knowledge of food products, sanitation standards, and proper culinary techniques
comply with hotel, city, county, and state fire, food safety, and sanitation regulations and standards
work as a team, assist other departments as necessary, and maintain good working relationships
