Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- two years of recent equivalent experience highly preferred
- ability to work 8 hour shifts during day or evening
- must be able to work on-site at The Downs Racetrack and Casino
- willingness to adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

- strong attention to detail in food preparation
- ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Job Duties
- cook meats fish vegetables soups and other food products accurately and efficiently
- prepare and portion food products prior to cooking
- perform food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing cooked items
- prepare appropriate garnishes for all plates
- adhere to department and food standards established by the Executive Chef
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen work area
- collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food service
