Known for its beautiful parks, walking trails, and public spaces, Billings continues to invest in resources that nurture an active and inclusive community environment. The city is committed to maintaining high standards of safety, customer service, and operational excellence in all of its recreational offerings.
This summer, the City of Billings is seeking a motivated and organized individual to join the PRPL team as a Lead Concessions Supervisor at one of its popular pool facilities. This seasonal position, based in Billings, MT, offers an hourly pay rate of $15.00 and runs from May 26 through August 31. As the Lead Concessions Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all concession operations at the pool, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring guests have a positive and enjoyable experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for training, supervising, and mentoring the pool concession staff, guiding them to meet high standards of performance and customer service. Food safety is a critical component of the position, requiring you to enforce safe food handling and cleaning procedures consistently to protect public health. You will maintain accurate inventory records and manage accounting for all concession products sold, ensuring the concession area is fully stocked, clean, organized, and inviting to pool-goers.
This position demands a strong leader who can coordinate daily operations and staff schedules efficiently, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with team members and customers alike. Maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor is essential, as you will be the face of the concession services and responsible for delivering excellent customer care at all times.
Ideal candidates will be at least 18 years old and possess reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented work habits. Previous experience in a supervisory or training role is preferred but not mandatory. Strong math skills and organizational abilities will help you handle the demands of inventory and sales tracking effectively. A positive attitude and a passion for customer service are vital to fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Joining the City of Billings' summer concessions team offers a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain valuable supervisory experience, and contribute to creating memorable poolside experiences for the community.
