With a membership exceeding 16,000 Girl Scouts and supported by over 10,000 adult volunteers, the organization plays a pivotal role in personal development, leadership, and community engagement for youth. Job Requirements
- Ability to stand on your feet for an extended period
- ability to lift to 40 pounds
- ability to tolerate exposure to seasonal weather conditions
- background check will be required
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old
- experience in mass food cooking and serving
- possess supervisory skills
- ability to relate well and communicate with others
- desire and ability to work in camp setting
- hold membership in the Girl Scout organization and subscribe to the tenets of the Girl Scout Promise and Law
Job Duties
- Cook meals for the summer camp season
- know safety procedures and general rules of kitchen and dining hall
- perform other duties as assigned
- foster a culture of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and amongst the membership
- adhere to organizational policies and safety standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
- collaborate with kitchen manager and team members
