The Housekeeper role is a full-time seasonal position critical to maintaining the high standards and operational excellence of Travel + Leisure Co.’s resort properties. In this role, the housekeeper is responsible for cleaning resort units, including sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas, to ensure they meet the company’s quality standards. This includes vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, making beds, and replenishing supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries. Beyond cleaning duties, the housekeeper must manage linens by sorting, counting, folding, marking, or carrying them as required.
An essential aspect of the role is the ability to maintain positive relationships with guests and fellow associates. The housekeeper must respond effectively and with professionalism to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction. Job Duties
- Clean resort units including sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms
- Maintain and adhere to housekeeping detail standards
- Clean, vacuum, dust, and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies
- Make beds and replenish supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries
- Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens
- Maintain positive customer and associate relationships
