Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a restaurant host or hostess
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with computer reservation systems such as Open Table
- Ability to handle moderate physical tasks including lifting and carrying
- Availability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Quick decision-making capabilities in high-pressure situations
Job Qualifications
- A true desire to exceed our guest's expectations to create everlasting experiences
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk long distances
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry moderate amount of weight
- Must be able to make quick decisions in tough situations
- Experience and a thorough understanding of restaurant operations preferred
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, including Open Table
- Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and create a positive first impression
- Manage guest seating and table accommodations efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer guest inquiries
- Ensure the smooth flow of guest seating to optimize restaurant capacity
- Assist in resolving guest concerns or issues promptly
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to maintain excellent service standards
- Utilize Open Table and other reservation systems proficiently
