The role of Golf Snack Bar/Beverage Cart Attendant at Cheyenne Mountain Resort is integral to the resort’s golf operations and guest service excellence. The position is seasonal and offers an hourly wage of $15.16 plus tips. This role requires individuals who are not only passionate about delivering superior guest service but also can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with flexibility, including weekends and holidays. Attendants are responsible for managing guest food and beverage orders at the snack bar as well as on the golf course via a mobile beverage cart. Responsibilities include accepting and processing payments, preparing food items like hot dogs and burgers, maintaining the cleanliness and inventory of the beverage cart, and ensuring all service activities align with company and safety standards. A key aspect of the role involves mobility, as attendants operate the beverage cart safely around the golf course, providing golfers with prompt and courteous service. Job Duties

  • Provide a welcoming and clean environment for guests
  • greet guests promptly and courteously as they walk up to the snack bar
  • create a positive experience for all guests and exceed expectations when possible
  • deliver food and beverages efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met in a timely manner
  • follow Hyatt standards in service
  • obtain and submit food and beverage orders from guests using POS system
  • adhere to all safety and health company requirements
  • ensure opening, ongoing, and closing side work is complete
  • check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
  • handle payments accurately using POS system
  • brew coffee and maintain coffee station throughout the day
  • restock the beverage cart
  • fill out daily requisition form for restocking products and supplies
  • monitor tee sheets for best understanding of the business levels throughout the day
  • monitor food inventory (burritos, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, etc.)
  • prepare hot dogs and burgers on the grill
  • assist during special events and golf tournaments
  • operate the beverage cart safely across the golf course adhering to all driving rules and course regulations
  • efficiently and accurately take drink orders, prepare them promptly, and serve beverages with attention to detail and presentation
  • serve beverages and snacks with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • engage with guests offering product suggestions
  • balance receipts and ensure payment is received from guests
  • follow responsible alcohol service guidelines, including checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption
  • report any guest concerns or course issues to management
