Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
- good customer service skills
- responsibility and accountability
- good time and task management skills
- positive and upbeat attitude
- proficiency with club repair tools such as a vice, grip knife and shaft cutter
- verbal and written communication skills in English
- ability to understand and carry out instructions in English
- ability to interact professionally
- ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- ability to communicate well in English
- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and instructions
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- ability to speak effectively before groups
- ability to calculate figures such as discounts and proportions
- ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint and internet software
- PGM Program with the PGA of America is preferred
Job Duties
- Provides assistance for members and guests in the Pro Shop
- organizes and coordinates golf leagues, outings and special events
- assists tee-time coordination
- assists in the maintenance of an accurate inventory
- marks and defines golf courses
- produces educational films for members and guests on the current technology
- performs club repair including grips, cut downs and epoxies
