The role of the General Store Barista is an exciting opportunity at Cheyenne Mountain Resort. The General Store is a grab-and-go market located in the Main Lodge, where guests can enjoy handcrafted beverages, brewed coffee, specialty drinks, and light fare. The Barista plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by preparing and serving beverages and food items according to established standards, maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment, and utilizing the point-of-sale system to handle transactions accurately. This position also entails restocking inventory, managing orders, delivering items within the resort, and ensuring compliance with food safety guidelines. The hourly rate for this role is $15.50 plus tips, making it a competitive opportunity for those who enjoy fast-paced, guest-facing work.

As a General Store Barista, you will be responsible for greeting guests warmly, answering questions about the offerings, and providing personalized recommendations to meet their tastes and preferences. Job Qualifications

  • Previous barista or coffee shop experience preferred but not required training provided

  • comfortable with basic food preparation, cash handling, and operating POS systems
  • must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve handcrafted beverages, brewed coffee, and specialty drinks with consistency and care
  • warm and serve grab-and-go food items and light fare according to safety and quality standards
  • greet guests, answer questions about offerings, and provide personalized recommendations
  • handle cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately
