The role of the General Store Barista is an exciting opportunity at Cheyenne Mountain Resort. The General Store is a grab-and-go market located in the Main Lodge, where guests can enjoy handcrafted beverages, brewed coffee, specialty drinks, and light fare. - High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- ability to stand for extended periods
- good communication skills
- dependable and punctual
- willingness to learn and follow safety and hygiene protocols
Job Qualifications
- Previous barista or coffee shop experience preferred but not required training provided
- strong guest service skills and a warm, approachable demeanor
- ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- comfortable with basic food preparation, cash handling, and operating POS systems
- must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve handcrafted beverages, brewed coffee, and specialty drinks with consistency and care
- warm and serve grab-and-go food items and light fare according to safety and quality standards
- greet guests, answer questions about offerings, and provide personalized recommendations
- handle cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the market, including stocking shelves and restocking condiments and supplies
