The Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe, nestled in the high-desert beauty of New Mexico, offers a unique and intimate setting with just 65 rooms spread across 57 acres in the Sangre de Cristo foothills. This location is famed for its romantic ambiance, stunning natural scenery, and a unique blend of rustic charm paired with luxury. Guests enjoy exquisite dining and spa experiences, surrounded by the serene wilderness that defines Santa Fe. The resort invites visitors to explore the nearby arroyos through guided hikes, relax by the pool, and dine on elevated regional cuisine at its renowned restaurant.

We are currently seeking a Seasonal Full-Time Cook I to join our esteemed culinary team at the Rancho Encantado. This role is perfect for a passionate individual ready to advance their career in hospitality and cuisine within a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and an authentic passion for culinary arts and hospitality service excellence. Duties include managing kitchen stations, preparing high-quality meals, and maintaining stringent food safety standards, all while contributing to a positive and dynamic work atmosphere. This role requires flexibility with scheduling, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, spanning from the date of hire through October. Candidates must bring at least three years of relevant experience in kitchen or hotel operations and possess the physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Educational background in culinary institutions or cooking schools is preferred but not mandatory. English proficiency and legal work authorization in the United States are also required. Job Duties

  • Act as a liaison between line staff and kitchen management to ensure performance and quality standards are met
  • Verify station readiness by ensuring all areas are properly stocked, prepped, and organized for service
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance and follow all food safety standards
  • Communicate respectfully and effectively with team members about menu items, challenges, and shortages
  • Contribute positively to a fast paced, collaborative kitchen environment
  • Manage daily operations of an assigned station, including mise en place, par levels, and cleanliness
  • Prepare consistent, high quality meals for all outlets in line with production and quality standards
