We are currently seeking seasonal full-time Valet/Parking Attendants to join our team at the Beauport Hotel, with a targeted start date around April 1st. This role is an essential component of the hotel's guest services department, ensuring a smooth and pleasant visitor experience from arrival to departure. As a Valet/Parking Attendant, you will be responsible for managing the parking and retrieval of guest vehicles efficiently and courteously. Your duties will include directing guest vehicles to appropriate spots in both the parking lot and garage while maintaining consistent communication to meet guest needs promptly and professionally. The position demands a high level of professionalism and a genuine desire to assist guests, contributing significantly to their overall impression of the hotel. This role requires physical stamina as attendants will stand or walk for approximately 90 percent of their shifts, often involving lifting, bending, and enduring varying weather conditions since work occurs both inside and outside the hotel. The ideal candidate must have experience in hospitality or a related field, hold a valid driver's license, and be at least 18 years old. The position offers a competitive base pay of $15 per hour plus tips, with total compensation usually ranging from $16 to $20 per hour based on seasonality and historical averages. Working a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential to meet the hotel's operational demands.
