Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- must be able to work flexible shifts including day, evening, and night
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
- ability to follow instructions and work under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations
- strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and customers
- familiarity with basic food preparation techniques is a plus
- a positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role
Job Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately
- ensure that all orders are complete and presented in an appealing manner before serving
- assist servers in providing excellent customer service by anticipating guest needs and responding promptly
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests
- collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and adherence to food safety standards
- communicate effectively with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations
- help with food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to all safety protocols
