The Kids Supervisor - PNO (Parents Night Out) at Life Time plays a crucial role in providing a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children during special events and regular Kids programs. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about child development and committed to delivering exceptional care and interactive experiences. The role involves managing and facilitating a range of creative and recreational activities such as storytelling, arts and crafts, singing, and games that promote learning and social interaction among children.

In this role, the Kids Supervisor is not only responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children but also for creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages positive experiences and memorable moments. They will greet and acknowledge children and their parents with professionalism and warmth, making everyone feel valued and comfortable. The Kids Supervisor also monitors the children to maintain a healthy play environment, overseeing the proper use of toys and sports equipment, and enforcing safety standards.

Additionally, this role entails operational responsibilities including maintaining documentation, auditing cleaning checklists, and managing staffing needs to ensure smooth program delivery. The Kids Supervisor promotes Life Time Kids programs, products, and services to families, contributing to the growth and success of the children’s offerings within the company. Leadership and coaching are also important components of this position, as the supervisor provides feedback, conducts team member evaluations, and supports the ongoing development of the Kids team.

Job Requirements

  • Must complete all required Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before 1st day of work
  • First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire
  • Completion of all state or federal requirements prior to first day of work

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working with children
  • The ability to engage a group of children in an activity
  • Customer service and strong communication skill

Job Duties

  • Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Engages children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games
  • Monitors and interacts with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to the toys, sports equipment, other children, and surroundings
  • Maintains the operational documentation, audits and delegates cleaning checklist and staffing
  • Promotes and sells Life Time Kids programs, products and services
  • Completes Team Member Evaluations, provides feedback and coaching as needed
