The role of a Seasonal Event Coordinator at Sidecar Social is crafted for energetic and experienced hospitality professionals comfortable working in high-paced, dynamic environments. This position involves overseeing and coordinating various logistics related to events hosted at the venue, ensuring smooth execution and positive guest experiences. Responsibilities include document preparation, attendance at planning meetings, operational coordination with a focus on AV equipment and dietary accommodations, signage management for clarity during buffet setups, equipment and setup management, venue maintenance post-events, and supporting the broader event team in multiple facets. Additionally, the coordinator manages communication related to event scheduling, acts as a primary contact during events, monitors resource replenishments, and performs inventory management tasks post-event. This multifaceted role demands a blend of organizational skills, hospitality knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with different teams and event hosts. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hospitality or event coordination preferred
  • ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • adept at using basic computer and scheduling tools

Job Qualifications

  • Obtain a food handlers permit
  • obtain a TABC certification
