Job Description

Sidecar Social is a vibrant and dynamic hospitality establishment that offers guests an engaging and lively experience, blending craft cocktails with scratch-kitchen plates in a lively environment. The venue features an enormous patio and hosts live music, creating a perfect ambiance for socialization and entertainment. Alongside this, patrons can enjoy private karaoke rooms and an array of classic gaming activities including pop-a-shot, foosball, darts, cornhole, as well as live sports broadcasting on massive 18-foot screens. This exciting concept is brought to life by a fast-growing company known for its ownership of BoomerJack's Grill—a successful chain of casual sports bar restaurants—and the lively Bedford Ice House, a popular live music venue. Recognized multiple times as a Best Place to Work by the Dallas Morning News, Sidecar Social prides itself on nurturing a family-like atmosphere with a strong focus on work-life balance and professional growth opportunities. The company values energetic and experienced hospitality professionals who thrive in busy, fun environments and are committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences.

The Seasonal Event Coordinator role at Sidecar Social is a crucial position tailored for an adaptable individual who enjoys the fast-paced hospitality scene and has a keen eye for detail in event planning and execution. This position demands an employee who can manage multiple responsibilities related to event coordination from the preparation stages right through to post-event follow-up. Responsibilities include printing and reviewing banquet event orders, coordinating operational aspects such as AV equipment and signage, managing buffet signage for clarity and cleanliness, and overseeing the setup and maintenance of event equipment and spaces. The role also requires constant communication with various stakeholders including operations teams, front-of-house staff, and managers, ensuring seamless event execution and clear designation of event areas. Additionally, the Seasonal Event Coordinator supports the team by managing inventory relevant to specific events and assisting with on-the-ground event monitoring, including replenishments and addressing guest questions. The Coordinator must also manage the event calendar and outgoing communications to keep management informed of upcoming engagements. This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality, who hold or are willing to obtain necessary certifications such as a Food Handlers permit and TABC Certification. Ultimately, the Seasonal Event Coordinator contributes significantly to Sidecar Social’s mission of creating memorable social experiences, helping the business to maintain its reputation as a top entertainment and dining destination. This role is temporary, seasonal in nature, suitable for professionals looking to engage in busy, event-driven activities within the hospitality industry and offers a rewarding career path in a company celebrated for its positive culture and employee care.
