The Event Support - Barback position is a vital role within the food and beverage (F&B) industry, specifically tailored for individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-paced event environments. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Agreement to maintain a drug-free workplace
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift 15 to 50 pounds regularly
- No driving of company vehicles or equipment
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and move items up to 50 pounds
- Previous experience in bar, restaurant, or event setting preferred
- Knowledge of working with Gila River Indian Community or other Native American communities preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Job Duties
- Stocking and restocking F&B areas with supplies including liquor, mixers, ice, glassware, and garnishes
- Cleaning and maintaining F&B areas by wiping surfaces, removing empty glasses and bottles, disposing of trash, and washing glassware and utensils
- Supporting F&B team with preparation work such as cutting fruit, preparing simple cocktails, and retrieving items
- Monitoring inventory levels and reporting shortages to bartenders and event managers
- Providing excellent customer service by answering guest inquiries, giving directions, and ensuring positive guest experiences
- Assisting with setup and breakdown of F&B areas before and after events
- Adhering to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborating with bartenders, servers, and event staff to ensure seamless service
- Driving any company vehicle or equipment is prohibited
