The open Food Runner position at Cheyenne Mountain Resort is a seasonal role pivotal to the smooth operation of the resort’s food and beverage outlets. This role involves working closely with both the culinary team and front-of-house staff to ensure that food orders are executed with accuracy, quality, and timeliness before reaching the guests. Job Duties

  • Ensures the efficient flow of orders from the wait staff to the kitchen
  • Ensures orders are being prepared with the correct priority and alerts management to quality issues or long wait times
  • Assists in the final plate presentation (e.g. adding condiments and/or toppings)
  • Checks dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature
  • Delivers orders quickly to customers to maintain fast service
  • Communicates important information to the kitchen and the Elevations staff (e.g. when a customer has a particular request)
  • Eliminates obstacles in service, food preparation lines, or dishwashing
  • Inspects the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assists in cleaning
  • Handles complaints from customers to preserve the restaurant's reputation of providing excellent customer service
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
