The cooperative's culture reflects its co-op roots and Northwest nature, emphasizing diversity, inclusion, and creating a welcoming environment for both staff and customers. PCC values the unique differences, life experiences, and talents of its staff, promoting a workplace where employees can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the community. The company offers equal employment opportunities and strictly prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind, ensuring a respectful and supportive workplace.

Instructors will work approximately 24 hours per week during the camp season and are expected to start when classes begin on June 22nd. The position offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $30.00 to $35.00. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to multitask, problem-solve under pressure, and engage students in a positive learning environment. PCC Community Markets also emphasizes a culture of inclusion, valuing diversity across all employee levels. Benefits include a staff discount on in-store purchases, free co-op membership, and sick accrual. Candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday and commit to a minimum of eight of the ten weeks of camp. Reliable transportation to PCC locations is required. The role reports directly to the Co-op Chef and requires a background check prior to employment.

Overall, this role is perfect for passionate culinary professionals who enjoy sharing their skills with younger generations in a supportive, inclusive, and community-focused environment.
