Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
Basic math skills for calculating discounts and making change
Ability to operate point of sale register system
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
Availability for seasonal work during holiday period

Job Qualifications

High school education or equivalent experience
Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner
Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers and customers
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers

Job Duties

Check out customer's merchandise through the POS registers
Greet and acknowledge all customers in a prompt and friendly manner
Handle merchandise with care
Support a strong commitment to world class customer service
Approach all customers in a friendly and outgoing manner
Remain product knowledgeable
Be aware of advertised sales
Stock and straighten shelves and pegs in the immediate area when not ringing up product
Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating customers' needs
Make product recommendations based on customer needs analysis
Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up
Perform all other duties as assigned
