Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- less than 1 year experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
- less than 1 year retail experience involving product identification and sales, warranty explanation, customer assistance, relationship building, issue resolution, zone recovery, and housekeeping
- ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Job Duties
- Provides SMART customer service at all times through execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs
- seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise
- listens to and responds promptly to customer and associate questions by guiding them through store areas and project needs
- demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers
- communicates stock, special order merchandise, benefits, applications, and warranty information related to Lowe's programs
- writes customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs in the Tool Rental Department
- cross-functionally trains in other store areas to enhance customer service
- detects signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks and reports to management or Asset Protection
- ensures compliance with housekeeping standards and programs to maintain store cleanliness and organization
- maintains a safe and secure work environment including conducting safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping aisles clear, and securing doors and gates
- adheres to safety protocols involving equipment and store operations
- operates store equipment relevant to specific roles and departments such as phones, paging systems, paint mixers, saws, balers, and tool rentals
