Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration if required by law
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • basic computer proficiency

Job Qualifications

  • Less than 1 year experience using a computer including inputting and modifying information
  • less than 1 year experience using retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
  • less than 1 year retail experience including selling products based on customer needs, explaining warranties and product features, assisting customers, building relationships, resolving issues, and housekeeping
  • ability to obtain sales related licensure if required by law

Job Duties

  • Provide SMART customer service through Lowe's policies, seek out customers to understand needs and assist with merchandise, respond promptly to customer and associate questions, demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers, communicate information about stock, orders, and warranties, write contracts and invoices for equipment rental and repairs, cross-train in other store areas, detect and report security risks, maintain cleanliness and organization through housekeeping programs, ensure a safe and secure work environment including daily safety reviews and hazard identification, adhere to safety requirements for job duties, operate store equipment as needed
