Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required
- basic math proficiency for handling transactions and change
- familiarity with POS systems
- strong customer service orientation with a positive, yes attitude
- excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- teamwork and reliability
- ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- stand for extended periods
- occasional bending, reaching, and stocking
- 16 years of age or older
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- regular and prompt attendance

Job Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally
- scan items, verify prices and quantities for accuracy, and process all payment types quickly and securely
- issue receipts, bag purchases, and handle returns or exchanges per store policy
- promote sales by informing customers about promotions, Ace Rewards loyalty program, and relevant products
- maintain front-end areas: clean registers, stock impulse areas, organize displays, and restock shelves as needed
- answer customer inquiries about product locations, features, or basic hardware advice
- assist with store opening/closing duties, such as cleaning bathrooms, answering phones, and loading customer purchases into vehicles
- troubleshoot minor POS issues and follow cash control procedures to prevent discrepancies
- all other duties as assigned by store management
