We are currently seeking enthusiastic and service-driven individuals to join our team as Bellpersons. This seasonal position plays a crucial role in ensuring an outstanding guest experience from the moment visitors arrive. The Bellperson acts as the first and last point of contact with our guests, providing assistance with luggage, offering information on resort amenities and local attractions, and ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout their stay. This role requires a high level of energy, strong communication skills, and an eagerness to create positive impressions. The Bellperson escorts guests to their rooms while explaining features and services, coordinates transportation arrangements, and ensures the lobby remains organized and guest-ready at all times. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment while contributing significantly to the overall reputation of Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, A Hilton Resort & Spa. The position is seasonal, with employment ending on September 30, 2026, and provides a competitive hourly wage of $16.90 per hour. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in guest services or bellperson role preferred
  • Valid CDL license if applicable
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to assist guests with luggage
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • One year prior guest services/bell experience preferred
  • Valid CDL license where applicable
  • Familiarity with local area and attractions
  • Read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival
  • Assist guests with their luggage, ensuring prompt and efficient service
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
  • Escort guests to their rooms, explaining the features and facilities
  • Deliver messages, packages, and other items to guest rooms
  • Coordinate transportation arrangements for guests as requested
  • Maintain a neat and organized lobby area
  • Anticipate and fulfill guests' needs to ensure a memorable stay
