Job Requirements
- 21 years or older
- Food handling card or certification from an approved organization
- Ability to lift and move 50 pounds
- Able to work long hours on feet
- Reliable transportation to and from shifts and locations
- Possession of a cell phone
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Able to adapt easily to new settings and team members
- Ability to professionally follow directions during busy times
- Outgoing high energy personality
- Strong communication skills
- Problem and solution-oriented mindset
- TIPS liquor certification required for servers and bartenders
- For FOH & BOH managers and supervisors: Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years service experience in restaurant, hotel, or catering environment
- Experience with banquet service and/or tray service is a plus
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude
- Ability to adapt easily to new settings and team members
- Outgoing and high energy personality
- Memorization skills for menu items and allergen information
- For bartenders: Minimum of 1 year bartending experience in a full bar
- General knowledge of beer types and wine varietals
- Experienced in organizing garnishes, mixers, and alcohols independently
- Ability to apply payments and close checks accurately including cash handling
Job Duties
- Act as an information point of contact for guests and guide them in their needs
- Obtain full knowledge of food and beverage items to properly educate customers about the event's menu
- Set up and break down dining/bar area and stock stations properly
- Keep server/bar areas organized throughout service
- Routinely manicure and bus dining, bar, and cocktail tables and areas
- Replenish buffet or other food stations ensuring they look plentiful and stocked
- Communicate product needs to Event Captain
- Apply safe food handling and sanitation practices when preparing, handling, or storing consumable items
- Properly check guest IDs and serve alcoholic drinks legally according to Arizona liquor laws
- Assist with loading and unloading events to and from the kitchen
