Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of bartending experience or relevant hospitality experience
  • Knowledge of various liquors recipes and bar tools
  • Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Availability to complete liquor liability training within 30 days of hire

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of drink recipes and bar inventory management
  • Proficient in cash handling and familiarity with MICROS or equivalent POS systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid certification in liquor liability training or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally

Job Duties

  • Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition as necessary
  • Be completely familiar with all different kinds of liquor recipes and prices of drinks proper glassware used for each recipe as well as garnishes needed
  • Know drink recipes prices and types of beverages available
  • Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures including proper discounting MICROS system or registers bank procedures and tip policies
  • Accurately charge guests for drinks and manage intake of all monies
  • Anticipate guest needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests maintaining positive guest relations at all times
  • Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction in each interaction
  • Be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter
