This opportunity is for the role of a Seasonal Barback within one of HHM Hotels' vibrant establishments. As a Barback, you will play a crucial support role in preparing and servicing bars to ensure that guest service and sustainability standards are consistently met. This seasonal position is a key entry point into the food and beverage department, providing hands-on experience that can lead to career progression along the hotel's service ladder—from Food Runner to Server and ultimately to Bartender.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational readiness of the bar by greeting guests with a warm and professional demeanor, managing inventory by coordinating stock with storeroom personnel, and ensuring supplies are well stocked and replenished. Your tasks will include preparing garnishes, mixing juices, maintaining cleanliness of bar and storage areas to comply with health regulations, and handling the logistics involved in managing ice, liquor bottles, and beer kegs. Additionally, you will be expected to uphold the hotel’s sustainability initiatives by following protocols under the EarthView program. Safety is paramount, and adherence to MSDS and OSHA standards is mandatory to ensure a secure workplace.

The Seasonal Barback position requires physical activity, including standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing a range of movements such as bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. The work schedule may vary, including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts, fitting the dynamic nature of hotel operations.
