Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing 50 pounds or more
- Physical stamina to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience in event setup is a plus
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Job Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 10-50lbs consistently throughout the duration of the shift
- Ability to pull and push 100lbs to 400lbs of equipment with team assistance
- Previous event setup experience preferred but not required
- Open availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
Job Duties
- Setting up and breaking down event meeting spaces with tables, chairs, and water
- Ensuring client specifications for room setup and requests from the team are met
- Maintaining a positive attitude and professional work ethic while interacting with guests
- Creating a safe workplace by following company policies and procedures
- Upholding Hyatt's quality standards in every task
- Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance
- Working on feet and moving around for extended periods
