Job Requirements

  • Able to work 8+ hour shifts standing or walking for extended periods
  • Flexible schedule availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to grasp lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Ability to maneuver effectively around kitchen and restaurant facilities
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Temporary seasonal position approximately 14 weeks until 10/13/25 with possible extension
  • Minimum one year of experience in a professional pastry kitchen
  • ServSafe certification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required government licenses, certificates, or permits
  • Ability to maintain focus in a high energy production environment
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing conditions of a new business opening
  • Works well under pressure
  • Passion for good food and quality customer experiences
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Pastry prep and production including baking and restocking
  • Perform daily product inventory and organize the kitchen
  • Execute the morning bake to have displays and stock ready 15 minutes before opening
  • Maintain high standards of quality and appearance for all food prepared and served
  • Follow daily production lists and maintain inventory at set pars
  • Work cleanly and maintain a tidy workstation
  • Identify efficiencies and inefficiencies in production processes
  • Adhere to company policies, standards, and systems
  • Take daily inventory of back stock, new production, served product, and waste
