Job Description

Enterprise Mobility is a leading automotive rental and leasing company in North America, operating well-known brands such as Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo. As the largest and fastest growing privately owned company in its sector, it prides itself on its extensive network covering more than 9,500 neighborhood and airport rental locations across over 90 countries and territories. The company is family owned by the Taylor family of St. Louis and manages a diverse fleet of 2.4 million vehicles. Recognized frequently as one of the top places to work, Enterprise Mobility is committed to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards throughout its operations.

This hiring opportunity is for a part-time Automotive Detailer position based in Turlock, California, specifically at 1636 Carnegie St. This seasonal role begins on May 14th and runs for a period not exceeding 120 days. The scheduled working hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM until 11:00 AM, making it ideal for individuals seeking flexible part-time employment. The starting pay rate is $18.50 per hour. A valid California driver’s license is a mandatory requirement for this position.

The Automotive Detailer role is vital to ensuring that vehicles are clean, safe, and ready for rental. This position supports Enterprise Mobility’s Complete Clean Pledge, which emphasizes rigorous cleaning and sanitization processes to safeguard the health and safety of customers and employees alike. Those who fill this role will be responsible for carrying out detailed cleaning, sanitizing interiors, washing exteriors, and conducting thorough inspections of vehicles ranging from cars to vans and trucks. The focus on cleanliness underscores Enterprise Mobility’s dedication to industry-leading standards and customer satisfaction.

In addition to cleaning duties, the Automotive Detailer will perform operational checks such as reviewing fuel levels, inspecting windshield condition, verifying vehicle registration, and ensuring tire safety. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are critical as this role involves identifying and reporting any vehicle concerns, including damage or maintenance warnings. Furthermore, the detailer helps maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the branch itself, contributing to a welcoming and professional environment.

The company values continuous improvement and encourages employees in this position to engage in self-assessment, training, and skill development. Reliability and good attendance are also essential traits for success in this role. While primarily a cleaning and detail-oriented position, the Automotive Detailer may also assist customers when necessary and support the branch with miscellaneous duties, enhancing overall service quality.

Enterprise Mobility is an Equal Opportunity Employer and supports inclusive hiring practices, considering qualified applicants with criminal histories in compliance with applicable laws. This opportunity is excellent for candidates looking to join a reputable company with strong industry leadership, a commitment to quality, and a supportive work culture.
