Job Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including varied shifts based on business needs
  • Physical stamina to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift including bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching
  • Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
  • Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items including lifting above head
  • Ability to regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
  • Age 18 years or older
  • Relevant experience in retail or customer service preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling with effective use of selling tools including text and social media
  • Build lasting relationships with customers
  • Give the best service to customers on their terms

  • Seek fashion and product knowledge to build expertise
  • Work with the team to keep the department customer ready by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
  • Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts
  • Flexibly perform duties in other departments as needed
  • Adjust schedule based on business needs
