Job Requirements
- Must have at least one or more years of experience in a full-service restaurant
- Combination of previous food and beverage experience preferred
- Flexible night and weekend availability
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace
- Must possess basic computational skills
- Must be able to lift weights over 30 pounds regularly
- Must display a professional, courteous, and service-oriented attitude
Job Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service as well as luxury core standards
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computational ability
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs regularly
- Ability to speak a second language is desirable
Job Duties
- Assist with greeting guests, creating a good first impression for the dining experience
- Completion of all opening and closing side work
- Ability to provide detailed descriptions of all menu items, assisting with pairings, while ensuring accurate orders are taken
- Provide the highest service standards possible to all guests
- Full knowledge and descriptions of all wines, beers, and cocktails, and be able to make recommendations
- Service of cocktails, wine and champagne in accordance with safe alcohol service standards
- Maintain the cleanliness of server stations, and equipment
- Meet and exceed all guest request and expectations with a professional attitude
- Keep tables clean throughout the evening
- Adhering to the proper cash handling procedure including tip reporting, due backs, and bank
- Complete all closing procedures
