Job Description

Three Rivers Park District is a natural resources-based park system that manages over 27,000 acres of parks and trails in the Twin Cities area, Minnesota. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid Minnesota Class D driver's license upon appointment
  • Must obtain or have Level II Watercraft Inspector/Decontaminator certification within two weeks of hire
  • Ability to work effectively in an outdoor environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to engage with the public in a courteous and informative manner

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid Minnesota Class D driver's license upon appointment
  • Certification as Level II Watercraft Inspector/Decontaminator by Minnesota Department of Natural Resources or ability to obtain within two weeks of hire
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Commitment to customer service excellence

Job Duties

  • Inform and educate the public about aquatic invasive species threats
  • Inspect watercraft at public water access sites
  • Conduct surveys related to watercraft use and invasive species awareness
  • Provide voluntary watercraft decontamination services using high-pressure hot water
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient operation area
  • Deliver excellent customer service to park guests
  • Assist with various customer service tasks to enhance park experience
