Job Description

Herschend Enterprises is a renowned family-owned company that has been a pioneer in themed attractions for over 75 years. Founded by the Herschend family after their discovery of wonder in an Ozark Mountain cave, the company has grown to become the largest family-held themed attractions enterprise, operating 49 leading attractions and immersive experiences across the globe. This prestigious establishment is deeply committed to creating memorable experiences that bring families closer together by fostering joy, connection, and cherished memories. Central to their mission is the concept of Heartspitality, which unites heart and hospitality, ensuring that every guest interaction is handled with care, respect, and genuine kindness. As an equal-opportunity employer, Herschend Enterprises emphasizes inclusive environments where every host, guest, and partner feels welcomed, valued, and loved, fostering a culture where respect and equality thrive.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the team at Sea Life Park, one of the unique attractions under the Herschend umbrella. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will play a key role in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring guests receive exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality. This leadership role requires a hands-on approach to managing the restaurant team and support departments, leading by example while mentoring and coaching assigned staff members. The supervisor will be responsible for ensuring uniform compliance, understanding all restaurant positions including food preparation, dining and bar services, and banquet services, and stepping in to perform duties as necessary.

In addition to team supervision, the Food & Beverage Supervisor will manage scheduling, timekeeping, and participate in the hiring, orientation, training, performance coaching, and discipline of employees. They will oversee enforcement of company policies as well as state and local regulations, including strict adherence to ServSafe and other food safety standards relevant to Sea Life Park. This role requires proactive management of customer service excellence, quality control, and maintenance of a safe, clean, and well-organized environment. The supervisor must possess a safety-oriented mindset and the ability to handle emergency situations calmly and professionally, while effectively communicating with guests and staff. Experience with POS systems and accuracy in documentation is essential.

This position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and demands physical stamina to endure the active nature of restaurant work, including standing for extended periods, handling equipment, and working in variable temperatures. While no formal education is mandatory, previous experience in a restaurant setting—with at least 1 to 2 years—and some supervisory experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, with bilingual skills in Spanish or other languages considered an asset.

Working at Sea Life Park offers a vibrant and dynamic environment where employees can enjoy making a positive impact on guest experiences while growing professionally. The role is perfect for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced setting, possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and enjoy being part of a family-oriented team that values hospitality, respect, and creating unforgettable moments for visitors. Join us to become a crucial part of the team that helps bring the magic of Sea Life Park to life!
