Job Duties
- Operate and drive all types of ground support equipment including both motorized and non-motorized units
- assist in performing preventive maintenance on GSE in accordance with established schedules and Fueling ATA guidelines
- support all GSE operations as required under the direction of senior technicians or shop leads
- aid in the removal of malfunctioning equipment from service
- maintain accurate maintenance and repair records in compliance with airline, airport, federal, provincial, and municipal regulations including ATA and SP requirements
- follow all applicable safety, environmental, and security regulations including those set out by WCB, EPA, WHMIS, airport authorities, and SP management
- maintain a valid driver's license
- keep the GSE shop and related work areas clean, organized, and in serviceable condition, report deficiencies to management
- fuel equipment as needed, observing all safety and environmental procedures
- communicate professionally with management, customers, and staff as required
- be proactive and self-directed, reporting to the shop leads daily
