Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18 years
- Ability to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach
- Capable of performing repetitive motion tasks requiring eye, hand, and foot coordination
- Ability to hear and respond to customer inquiries
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the workday
- Capacity to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 30 pounds
- Willingness to comply with company safety and accident prevention policies

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in bakery or food preparation preferred
- Knowledge of bakery terminology and processes
- Ability to follow standard formulas and procedures accurately
- Basic inventory management skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and sanitation standards
- Good communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Perform bakery functions such as mixing, scaling, proofing, baking, frying, and finishing bakery items as directed
- Be knowledgeable of basic bakery terms and processes such as fermentation, bench time, proofing, and effects of temperature variations
- Assist in making orders for bakery ingredients and supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Fill, rotate, arrange, and merchandise displays and display cases
- Possess knowledge of pricing, dating, wrapping or bagging of all bakery products
- Be proactive on self-development to assume additional duties and responsibilities
- Comply with all company safety and accident prevention policies
- Clean and sanitize bakery areas and equipment
- Maintain department equipment in good working order and recommend repairs when necessary
