Job Requirements
- Current resident of Colorado
- Ability to sign waiver of retention rights
- Availability for on-call crisis response duties
- Access to reliable transportation for travel
- Proficient in crisis response models and training
- Experience working with educational institutions
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social work, or related field
- Experience in crisis intervention or school safety services
- Proficiency in the NASP PREPaRE Model or willingness to become certified
- Strong communication and training delivery skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Knowledge of Colorado school safety laws and regulations
- Capacity to travel as needed for crisis response and training
Job Duties
- Provide crisis response training to school personnel using the PREPaRE Model and other approved crisis models
- Develop and deliver instructional modules for school crisis prevention and preparedness
- Collaborate with School Outreach and Regional Training Consultants to support center initiatives
- Respond on-call to critical incidents in schools to assist with immediate crisis management
- Lead or support school crisis response efforts to minimize trauma and restore normal operations
- Maintain proficiency in mental health workshops offered by the Colorado School Safety Resource Center
- Communicate availability of crisis assistance to schools statewide
