Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- two years of experience in institutional food service
- experience in food service supervision
- must obtain ServSafe certification or Tennessee Department of Education Food Safety and Schools Certificate Program within one year
- proof of education, training and/or experience is required

Job Duties
- ensures the efficient operation of the school cafeteria
- supervises staff
- orders foods and supplies
- oversees food planning, preparation and service
- supervises point-of-sale terminal operation and financial reporting
- ensures compliance with all applicable district and board policies and procedures and state, federal regulations
- provides food services for one or more satellite site/sites and/or operates a cluster school/schools or a high volume location
