Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
No prior experience required
On-the-job training provided
No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to comply with company policies and safety procedures
Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends

Job Qualifications

Prior customer service experience
One year of prior similar work experience
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
Ability to follow safety and compliance standards
Military experience is a plus but not required

Job Duties

Clean and maintain assigned area including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and stairways
Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors in designated areas
Regularly check and empty trash receptacles in all designated areas
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
Notify lead cleaner or manager about the need for repairs or additions to building systems
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients and coworkers
Collect, consolidate, and separate recycling into proper receptacles
Clean and dust desks, chairs, tables, furniture, fixtures, doors, sills, floors, ceilings, and walls
Polish hard surfaces such as woodwork and stainless steel surfaces
Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas manually or with hand trucks
Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or cleaners
Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow, or perform other seasonal tasks
Maintain cleanliness and polish restrooms as needed
Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures
