Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work flexible mornings and afternoon/evening shifts
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to follow instructions and maintain punctuality
- Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Must be able to work on an on-call part-time basis
- No additional certifications required
Job Qualifications
- Team-oriented and adaptable
- Reliable and committed to nurturing a healthy and safe working environment
- 0 to 1 year of related experience preferred
- Previous experience in fine dining, catering, or banquet servicing may be advantageous
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Job Duties
- Serve food and beverages to patrons at counters and tables in coffee shops, lunchrooms, and other dining establishments
- Present menus to customers, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service
- Memorize or write orders on checks and relay orders to kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages from kitchen and service bars
- Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
