Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 6 months availability for full-time service
- ability to work 40 hours per week
- physically fit to carry 50 pounds and hike uneven terrain
- willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- ability to operate gas-powered equipment
- familiarity with health and safety procedures
- pass physical fitness test for wildland firefighter certification
- commitment to teamwork and punctuality
Job Qualifications

- ability to participate in physically demanding outdoor work
- basic computer and smart phone application skills
- interest in environmental conservation and land management
- ability to work as part of a team
- willingness to travel across different sites in Texas
Job Duties
- engage in invasive plant species removal
- create and maintain trails and boardwalks
- prepare for prescribed burns
- conduct public outreach
- collect data including GIS data
- remove debris
- perform general landscaping of public areas
