Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED
  • Must have current Refrigeration Certification Class I and II per EPA guidelines
  • Valid driver's license with certificate of insurability
  • Ability to drive a one-ton truck with automatic or manual transmission
  • Must pass drug screen
  • Must pass strength test
  • Must pass WSC background check
  • Ability to work in noisy environments and in extreme temperatures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to stand or sit for long periods and perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, or crawling

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED
  • Current Refrigeration Certification Class I and II per EPA guidelines
  • Valid driver's license with certificate of insurability
  • Experience with installation, servicing, and repair of electrical appliances
  • Ability to use hand tools and electrical testing equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and manufacturer specifications

Job Duties

  • Ensure all operational and safety procedures are properly followed, maintaining a clean and safe work area
  • Install, service, and repair stoves, refrigerators, dishwashing machines, and other electrical household or commercial appliances using hand tools, test equipment, and wiring diagrams
  • Connect appliances to power sources and test meters, observe meter readings, and examine appliances during operating cycles to detect issues
  • Trace electrical circuits, locate shorts and grounds, calibrate timers and thermostats, adjust contact points, and clean parts
  • Replace worn or defective parts, repair and adjust appliance motors, reassemble appliances, adjust pulleys, and lubricate moving parts
  • Properly maintain equipment
  • Comply with safety regulations and company policies
