The Restaurant Brand Food Service Manager position at Cumberland Farms plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the food service program. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year food service department lead capacity in retail or restaurant environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours a day
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
  • Ability to bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp, and grip
  • Ability to work in cold temperatures such as freezer and cooler environments
  • Flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to travel up to 5 percent for meetings
  • Compliance with specialized work attire requirements
  • High energy and team-oriented mindset

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year food service department lead capacity in retail or restaurant environment
  • Preferred 1-3 years food service experience
  • Serv Safe Certification a plus but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to lead a team and motivate others
  • Comfortable interacting with guests and team members

Job Duties

  • Lead by example to demonstrate a great restaurant food service program
  • Work with the Multi Unit or Multi Brand General Manager to build and develop a strong food service program
  • Set clear and measurable goals and assume ownership for program efficiency and success
  • Hold team members accountable through training, coaching, delegating, and communication
  • Address team member performance or behavior issues quickly and fairly
  • Achieve operational excellence by meeting sales, expenses, and net profit goals
  • Manage the overall appearance, cleanliness, and brand standards execution
  • Oversee quality control, merchandising, and safety programs
  • Manage inventory including ordering, receiving, and waste control
  • Maintain all cleaning and sanitation standards according to EG, Brand, and local Board of Health
  • Communicate and resolve product quality, food safety, equipment, training, and signage issues with the Brand Manager
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager
