Job Duties
- Prepare and cook ingredients by sauteing in a hot pan with oil or butter
- Follow established recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency in flavor, appearance, and portion sizes
- Prepare ingredients such as chopping, slicing, and marinating to facilitate efficient cooking
- Taste and adjust seasonings to ensure quality control of dishes
- Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and plating of sauteed items
- Maintain a clean and organized saute station with all equipment in good working condition
- Adhere to safety and hygiene standards including proper food handling and sanitation
- Assist in tracking inventory levels for saute ingredients and notify when supplies need replenishing
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Adapt to menu changes, kitchen procedures, or guest special requests
