Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Saute Cook or similar culinary role in a high-volume restaurant setting
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Capability to handle physical demands such as standing for long periods and lifting heavy items
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Execute all Saute station preparations and cooking according to Outback Steakhouse's rigorous recipes and quality standards
  • Operate and maintain Saute cooking equipment efficiently and safely, ensuring proper temperature control and sanitation
  • Collaborate with other culinary team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Assist with the proper storage and rotation of food items, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Saute station and surrounding work areas
  • Adhere strictly to all operational, safety, and sanitation standards, company policies, and federal/state/local regulations
  • Proactively identify and address any issues related to food quality or kitchen operations
  • Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries, specifically related to Saute station ingredients
  • Contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen environment through teamwork and effective communication
