Job Requirements
- High School Diploma preferred or GED
- Ability to use cleaning agents, supplies and equipment
- Must understand chemical labels and follow instructions
- Must follow safe working practices per safety policies and procedures
- Prior experience operating power sanitation equipment helpful
- Must be able to work in chill and frozen temperature environments
- Ability to lift 30-75 pounds frequently
- Must be reliable and able to report to work as scheduled

Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize the food production facility according to guidelines and cleaning checklist
- Report to supervisor any safety hazards and chemicals
- product spills or improperly sealed or stored items
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by properly disposing of cleaning chemicals, trash, etc. and ensuring any spills are cleaned up quickly and according to safety guidelines
- Perform general sanitation duties including cleaning the warehouse and emptying garbage as assigned
- Move or handle cases, boxes, bags, and pallets of dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy products, produce, poultry, fish, beef, pork and related products
- Work in different temperature environments including dry, perishable and frozen, primarily chill and frozen
- Operate power industrial equipment such as long-tongued electric pallet jack, high-extender high-lift, and other moving equipment (walkers)
- Ensure equipment is in good working order according to safety checklist
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by properly disposing of pallet boards, wood chips, and other trash, and ensuring any spills are cleaned up quickly and safely
- Lift products weighing between 30-60 lbs frequently and products weighing up to 75 lbs occasionally while ensuring a safe work environment
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
