Job Description

Etz Hayim is a dynamic company operating multiple prominent brands, including Cycling Frog and Lazarus Naturals. The organization boasts an extensive operation that spans over 300 acres of hemp farming, extraction, chemical processing, packaging, and warehousing. By managing these processes in-house, Etz Hayim supports both its own brands and private label customers, exemplifying a truly vertically integrated business model. This model enables the company to maintain high-quality standards, operational efficiency, and affordability across its product lines. Lazarus Naturals, founded in 2016, is a pioneer in providing safe, effective, and accessible CBD products. Their commitment to social responsibility is demonstrated through a 60% Assistance Program for veterans, people with disabilities, and low-income individuals, ensuring these groups can benefit from their products irrespective of financial barriers.

Cycling Frog, another brand under the Etz Hayim umbrella, is transforming the consumption of casual use THC products. Their mission is to offer convenient, affordable, and enjoyable THC experiences through sessionable THC beverages priced comparably to beer or soda. Operating within the legal framework of the Federal Farm Bill, Cycling Frog markets low-potency THC beverages across all 50 states, both online and in retail outlets. The brand is focussed on advancing the cultural acceptance and normalization of THC by emphasizing lower potency and readiness for an everyday lifestyle.

The role of Sanitation Technician at Etz Hayim is an essential one, directly supporting the production and quality teams to ensure that all products meet rigorous standards of cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance. This position requires a close partnership with the operations team, demanding complementary skills that enhance the overall workflow. Sanitation Technicians are responsible for upholding cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) cleanliness standards across equipment, tools, parts, and work areas.

This job calls for meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to scheduled hygiene tasks which vary hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly. Sanitation Technicians must proficiently use cleaning chemicals and master the disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of various production equipment, such as pumps, tanks, kettles, mixers, forming machines, ovens, and metal detectors. The role also involves active participation in daily production alignment meetings to understand how individual contributions impact overall team objectives.

Efficiency and safety are paramount in the sanitation role. Technicians must maintain work areas that meet cGMP standards and comply with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), Master Sanitation Schedules, and Batch Production Records. Problem-solving, critical thinking, and a lean operational mindset are necessary to observe current procedures and suggest improvements. The company highly values employees who demonstrate the ability to manage their tasks independently, maintain strong communication with coworkers and leadership, and adjust priorities to meet production and business needs.

Etz Hayim offers competitive compensation, with a pay rate of $23 per hour for this full-time sanitation technician role. They emphasize inclusiveness and diversity and actively encourage veterans and qualified candidates from varied backgrounds to apply. Comprehensive benefits, including medical, vision, dental insurance, and retirement plans, contribute to an attractive employment package, alongside a supportive workplace culture and employee discount programs. This opportunity represents a chance to be part of an innovative company shaping the future of hemp, CBD, and THC product industries while contributing to public health and responsible consumption.
