Job Duties

  • Supervise, schedule, and coordinate the work of porters, dishwashers, and pot washers during assigned shifts
  • Ensure all pots, pans, trays, utensils, kitchen equipment, and airline equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and stored correctly
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all dishwashing areas, drains, mop stations, sinks, and surrounding kitchen zones
  • Enforce compliance with company sanitation protocols and health and safety regulations
  • Train new porter staff on cleaning procedures, chemical safety, PPE usage, and equipment handling
  • Conduct regular inspections of work areas, equipment, and cleaning stations to ensure safety and cleanliness
  • Support deep cleaning projects and sanitation tasks in coordination with QA and Production
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies, PPE, and chemicals are properly stocked, labeled, and used according to SDS guidelines
  • Assist in creating and updating cleaning schedules and sanitation standards
  • Report maintenance needs or equipment malfunctions to the Sanitation Manager or Maintenance Department
  • Address performance or attendance issues among porter staff in coordination with HR or management
