Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food preparation or service preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- excellent communication skills
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to follow health and safety regulations
- physical ability to lift moderate weights
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in using POS system
- ability to work well in teams
- ability to work with flexibility in a continuous schedule of day, nights, holidays, and weekends
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- strong attention to detail
- knowledge of kitchen equipment
- previous experience in cooking, cashier, culinary arts, or related fields is preferred
Job Duties
- Receive orders from the customers and printers
- ensure the ingredients and garnishes are available for the shift, including prepping ingredients
- toast hamburger buns as orders require
- build sandwiches (burgers) to individual customer order, placing meat or filling and garnishes accordingly
- assist in making sandwiches, shakes, and other menu items
- support restaurant opening and closing tasks as needed
